LITERARY & CULTURAL:

The students are given ample opportunity to show their literary talent through various literary & cultural activities. Competitions at school and sahodaya level are conducted such as- declamation, debate, elocution, extempore, drama, quiz, speech etc. are conducted. Thorough practice is given to the students to help them take part in the competition.

SCIENCE & MATHS:

To enable students to develop their latent talents and scientific temperament Science exhibition, science quiz and symposium are held every year. Students participate in regional and sahodaya science exhibition. Students are also given opportunity Maths & Science Olympiads.

Dance and music activities are conducted regularly. Inter-house competitions are conducted in dance and music such as solo song, group song, group dance, drama, drawing and painting. Drawing and craft classes are conducted regularly throughout the year. RPS promotes and encourages individual talents and group work.We discover, nurture and sustain the creativity of our students and help them think out of the box. Art and craft are the best tools for creative thinking.

The school has facilities for both indoor & outdoor games. The school has appointed a team of trained & experienced coaches. Coaching is given to boys and girls in Volley Ball, Handball, Cricket, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, and Billiards & Squash. Competitions in games and sports are conducted at school, sahodaya and cluster levels.

ANNUAL SPORTS & MEET:

Sports Day at Royal Academy is a platform to showcase the talent and efforts put in by the student to make it a successful event. Sports here at Royal Academy is not only about competition, it is also about having fun , being physically active , learning the basics of sports and building coordination and teamwork and so to give the students an opportunity to display their talent, self-confidence, patience, zeal and sportsmanship.
